The Idiotic "Are You Better Off" Question Asked Every 2 Seconds

It's a bit silly to ask the question are you better off than you were before so and so got elected because it assumes that the President, usually a lawyer, or a lifetime politician who has existed off of tax money exclusively, would actually be interested in closing down the government, which is the only way you could be better off under any particular president; if he did-away with the job itself. And none of them will do that because they would be out of a job, and so would the next President.
A President cannot make your life better because he doesn't know you and very likely does not want to know you.
Usually only the President is the only person who is better off than before the President was elected. In fact no President has ever left office poorer than when he went in. The President is always better off after he is elected, and the country is always worse off. Everyone proclaims Reagan as a fantastic President but how are we better off because he was President; because we have 20% unemployment, Muslims and Mexicans replacing white American Christian culture with savagery, no industry, no future, no hope, no prospects rather than nuclear war with Russia? Is that why we are better off?  Oh, ok, good job, Reagan. Thanks for the slow agonizing death rather than the bright white light of nuclear vaporization.
And he was the good President.
